The Curtain Swing (カーテンスイング) is an obstacle introduced into the Third Stage following the complete course redesign after Nagano Makoto's kanzenseiha in SASUKE 17

It is a modification of the Curtain Cling. The obstacle consists of four small curtains (1 meter in length) that are hung diagonally, and the bottom of each is within arm's reach. The competitors must swing from one to the next to get across.

The obstacle was proven to be easier than its predecessor, as all three competitors who attempted it easily cleared it. It was replaced by the far more difficult obstacle (the Devil Steps) in the following tournament (although it was unattempted in that tournament).

Before official runs of the Third Stage, there were apparently seven curtains, albeit with smaller gaps in between. For official runs, the amount was reduced to four.

SASUKE Ninja Warrior Indonesia's Curtain Grip in Final Stage

A smaller version of the Curtain Swing (called as the Curtain Grip) appeared as the second obstacle during Final Stage on SASUKE Ninja Warrior Indonesia.

However, unlike the Curtain Swing, the obstacle featured 5 long hanging curtains. Competitors must across the obstacle (in a similar fashion with the Tarzan Rope) to reach the landing platform. Only one competitor failed on this obstacle.
