The Cross Slider (クロススライダー) is a Second Stage obstacle introduced with the course redesign in SASUKE 28 following Urushihara Yuuji's second kanzenseiha in the previous tournament.

Competitor must prop themselves against the two pads using only their arms (as if they were propping themselves in the Spider Walk), and then hung on as the contraption slid down the track, and then competitors must drop down to the landing pad below, as an intermediary to the next obstacle, the Swap Salmon Ladder.

As with the majority of the first Second Stage obstacles that have gone before it, the Cross Slider has caused relatively little damage. However, over the four tournaments it has been in place, 6 competitors have failed it, including Golden Bomber drummer Darvish Kenji, and comedian Nakayama Kinnikun.

It was removed after SASUKE 32, being replaced by the Ring Slider.
