Circle Hammer (サークルハンマー) is a First Stage obstacle that was introduced in SASUKE 22 to indirectly replace Pole Maze, being positioned as the second obstacle, thus moving Log Grip to the third position.
Its function was vaguely similar to Metal Spin, where competitors have to hold on and maneuver a rope that was suspended from a downward-angled circular frame and land on a platform at the end of the track. The difference, however, is that Circle Hammer had track stopper, thus allowing an easier transition to the landing platform, should the competitors miss the platform at first.
The obstacle was proven to be very simple and functioned more as a time waster on the course, as only four competitors failed on this obstacle, probably the reason it was replaced by Curtain Slider in SASUKE 23.
Other Appearances[]
Ninja Warrior Sweden[]
The Circle Hammer made its first international appearance as the third obstacle in the Timed Section of Stage 2 in Ninja Warrior Sweden. However, unlike SASUKE, the downward-angled circular frame was replaced by a "C shaped" track. The obstacle is a time waster only and nobody failed it.
