Christopher Romrell is a three time American Ninja Warrior competitor. He first competed in American Ninja Warrior 5 in Denver.
American Ninja Warrior 5[]
In the Denver qualifying round, he blazed through the qualifying Round in 59.19 seconds. He placed 4th out of 48 finishers.
In the city finals, his run was digested, but it showed him falling on the Floating Stairs. Even then, it was good enough to make it into the Top 15 to move on to Las Vegas, as he finished off 10th overall.
During the national finals round, he was one of 21 to beat Stage One. He cleared with over 24 seconds left.
On Stage Two, he was the made it all the way to the Unstable Bridge until he ran out of steam and fell.
American Ninja Warrior 6[]
He returned for American Ninja Warrior 6 where he competed in Denver again, and completed the qualifying run in 1:46:72, hitting the buzzer with his head and finishing with the 8th fastest time.
Romrell's city finals run was all cut. He would later explain what had happened in his run on social media. Romrell had decided to take extended breaks in between the upper body obstacles as they were never his strong suit. He exhausted himself on the Salmon Ladder, but did manage to complete it. Eventually, Romrell gassed out on the Arm Rings. Because he took a lot of time in between obstacles, his pace to the eighth obstacle placed him 16th overall, just barely outside the top 15. He missed the national finals this time by one spot.
American Ninja Warrior 7[]
Romrell's final season took place at the Kansas City qualifiers. His qualifying run was all cut but he'd later confirm on social media his result. Romrell mistimed his release on the Big Dipper and missed the cargo net. As such, he did not advance to the semifinal round for the first time.
