Christian "Chris" Harmat is a Swiss-Hungarian professional parkour athlete and ninja gym manager who participated in many Ninja Warrior Germany competitions, including the regular Ninja Warrior Germany Seasons 2-7, Team Ninja Warrior Germany 1 & 2 and Ninja Warrior Germany All-Stars 1 & 2. In Ninja Warrior Germany, Harmat is mostly known for his speed and his rather foolhardy jumps throughout the courses. And while he never really saw that much success in the regular Ninja Warrior Germany competitions in which he competed (despite his amazing skills and potential), Harmat was very successful in both Team Ninja Warrior Germany 1 & 2, in which he made it to the final relay race with his teams Queen of Kingz and Fusion.
Apart from his participations in Ninja Warrior Germany competitions, Harmat also participated in Ninja Warrior Hungary 2 and 3, and in Ninja Warrior Switzerland 1 & 2. In Ninja Warrior Hungary 3, Harmat not only stood out by making it all the way to the Final Stage, but also by becoming the Last Man Standing of the season. On that Final Stage, he timed at the very top of the tower in a rather controversial manner, due to the fact the button was not placed directly on the top platform, but instead on a high pedestal which was placed on the of the Final Stage, making the button more difficult to reach.
In addition, Harmat is definitely to be deemed as one of the most talented athletes in the European Ninja Sport, and as relevant part of the sport for being one of the leading managers of the Overground Basel in Basel, Switzerland. This Ninja and Sports gym has an extraordinarly good reputation in Europe and has hosted many different Ninja competitions that have been visited by skilled Ninja athletes from all around the world.
Personal Career Before Ninja[]
Born in Switzerland with Hungarian roots, Harmat has been a professional parkour athlete since 2009. The then 17-year-old fascination with the sport was sparked by the film Yamakasi. He is the co-founder of the parkour team World's Parkour Family and the parkour clothing brand FLIP.United. Since the sport became part of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG), Christian Harmat has had some of his greatest successes, including the World Cup victory in Hiroshima, Japan and the subsequent overall World Cup victory in 2019. He is considered one of the best parkour athletes in the world and is currently ranked number one in the world in the speed category. And in the 2024 Summer Olympics, Christian Harmat is considered a serious medal contender in the Parkour event.

Ninja Warrior Germany 8[]
In 2023, approximately one month before the recordings of that season commenced, it was announced that Harmat had unfortunately sustained a severe shoulder injury and needed to undergo surgery, so Harmat did not participate in the season and only supported his fellow friends from the sidelines.
