Celebrity Ninja Warrior: Red Nose Day 2 was the second installment of celebrity edition of American Ninja Warrior, which was held as part of Red Nose Day charity. The show was premiered at NBC on May 24th, 2018 (6 days before American Ninja Warrior 10's season premiere).
Format[]
Each celebrity competitor was paired with a top American Ninja Warrior veteran, who served as both their trainer and cheerleader, as they could be tagged by their celebrity partner to attempt the obstacle. Each celebrity competitor would receive $5,000 for Red Nose Day's charity, for each obstacle they completed.
However, celebrity competitors were not tied with American Ninja Warrior's rules (e.g. celebrity competitors were allowed to attempt the same obstacle, although he/she had failed before), as the show's purposes were to encourage viewers to donate and have a fun run between celebrity competitors and the veterans.
The obstacles used for this special were the same that would be used for Los Angeles qualifying course on American Ninja Warrior 10. Also, several obstacles were modified to make them easier for celebrity competitors (since they had a short amount of time for training).
A total money of $185,000 had been raised for Red Nose Day charities, courtesy of Comcast.
