Female contestants

Starting from American Ninja Warrior 9, female competitors have a separate ranking to advance to the city finals/national finals:

• For the city finals, the top 5 women who went the farthest move on to the city finals.

• For the national finals, the top 2 women that went the farthest will advance and then starting in American Ninja Warrior 13 the top 3 women that went the farthest will advance.
