Cargo Crossing is an obstacle, firstly introduced as the fourth obstacle on American Ninja Warrior 7 in Houston.
It consisted of a springboard, a see-saw-like suspended cargo net with a horizontal metal bar at each end, and a trapeze bar. Competitors must jump 8 feet from the springboard and grab the metal bar closest to them or the cargo net directly. Then, they must climb under the 8-foot (2.44-meter) cargo net as it pivoted until they reached the other metal bar. From there, competitors must make a 6 feet (1.83 meters) transition to the trapeze bar, and then to the landing platform.
During Houston qualifiers, several competitors had trouble making the transition to the trapeze bar, because the cargo net would swing back and forth while competitors tried to make the aforementioned transition. Ultimately, the obstacle took out Rose Wetzel and most astonishingly, Kacy Catanzaro. During Houston finals, only Brock Riebe fell on the obstacle.
Other Appearances[]
Ninja Warrior France[]
Cargo Crossing (La Toile D'Arraigneรฉ) appeared in Ninja Warrior France 3. It was paired with Razor's Edge or Snake Crossing in Split Decision as the first obstacle of Heat 3 and 4 respectively. The lache bar at end was removed and was replaced by a narrower one (e.g. the one from ANW8 Hourglass Drop) at the start, forcing a direct dismount from the cargo net to the platform.
Ninja Warrior Germany[]
On Ninja Warrior Germany 2, Cargo Crossing (Cargo-Netz-Wippe) appeared as the fourth obstacle of the Semifinals. It followed the identical specification as the French version, but with an added trampoline at the start.
Ninja Warrior Poland[]
The Cargo Crossing, locally called Pajฤczyna (literally Spider's Web) appeared in Ninja Warrior Poland as the fourth obstacle in the Finals' Stage One. Unlike American Ninja Warrior 7, the obstacle has no trapeze bar at the end. This obstacle turned out to be quite easy as only one out of 24 competitors failed it.
Then on Ninja Warrior Poland 5, the Cargo Crossing appeared as the first obstacle during the final Stage One where it was combined with Sonic Swing.
