He competed in Denver, where he was one of 48 finishers to complete the qualifying course, placing 11th.
In the city finals, he fell on the Floating Stairs. However, his performance was still enough to place 14th.
He became the first runner in the national finals, but on the Rope Glider, he actually landed on the platform, but lost his balance and fell into the water. He's the only athlete to fail on that obstacle.
