Caleb Hayre is a firefighter and former marine soldier who first competed in San Pedro in American Ninja Warrior 7.

Because of his marine service, Hayre was invited to compete in San Pedro during a special military episode. He blazed through the qualifying course with the second fastest time, becoming one of just ten militants to complete the I-Beam Cross.

In the city finals, Hayre retained his pace, but shockingly failed the Salmon Ladder. However, he placed 12th in the city finals overall, and guaranteed a spot in the national finals. He later failed the Silk Slider on Stage One in a digested performance.
