Unfortunately, he shockingly failed the Sky Hooks and did not advance to the next round.
American Ninja Warrior 13[]
Because of his stellar performances in American Ninja Warrior Junior, Cal received the call to compete in American Ninja Warrior 13. His Qualifying run was shown in the fifth Qualifying episode, where he finished the course with the second fastest time of the night, behind Kai Beckstrand. He returned for the Semifinals, where his run was shown in the fourth Semifinals episode. Unfortunately, he failed the Crazy Clocks and did not advance to Las Vegas, as he placed 19th overall.
American Ninja Warrior 14[]
Cal returned for his second season in the first qualifying episode. His run was digested, but unlike last season, he went for the Mega Wall and just barely missed it with his right hand. Nevertheless, he once again cleared the course, this time in 3rd place and was the top teen competitor that round. He later competed in the first semifinals episode. There he had a strong run until he failed on Ghost Town, once again falling on the eighth obstacle. This time around however, he placed 14th overall and thus he advanced to the national finals after not doing so last year. His run in the national finals was cut, but he was one of the many who failed the Jumping Spider, ending his season.
American Ninja Warrior 15[]
Cal competed in ANW 15 in the seventh qualifier. His run was digested in qualifying, but he made short work of the first four obstacles. He was expecting to hitting another buzzer, but in a twist, he was one of the many to fail the fifth obstacle, Lasso Launch. Even still, his speedy pace meant that he placed 3rd overall, advancing to the semifinals.
He later competed in the third semifinal episode, going against Simba Jones. Simba had an early fall on Flying Shelf Grab, and then Cal tried to get a chance to race for the Safety Pass, but the speed caught up to him when he failed Sideways, an obstacle he easily cleared two years ago. Despite that, he still earned a return trip to the national finals.
His run at the national finals was digested, but he got revenge on the Jumping Spider, and also had an one hand save on the hanging board on The Gambler, but he unfortunately failed two obstacles on the Dipping Birds, ending his season without hitting a buzzer.
American Ninja Warrior 16[]
Cal competed in the eighth qualifier in ANW 16. There, he fell earlier, failing the fourth obstacle, Duck Duck Goose, after missing the second bird ledge. This put him in the runoff races in 12th place against Josh Wagg. During the runoffs, it was a close race, but Cal eventually got the edge and completed the course before Wagg, averting an early elimination.
He later competed in the last semifinal episode, going against Caleb Bergstrom. They both cleared the course, Caleb was faster, giving him the win. Cal still advanced to the national finals as one of the top 2 non-winners and hit his first semifinal buzzer.
Cal would get revenge on the Dipping Birds and ultimately cleared Stage One for his first time in a digested performance with 7.93 seconds left. Cal later raced against Jackson Twait on Stage Two. He won the race by clearing Stage Two faster than Jackson and advanced to Stage Three. Cal was then the first runner shown on Stage Three. He easily cleared the first two obstacles, but he then became the first competitor to fail Slam Dunk in Vegas, ending his best season to date.
