Branden McWilliams is a welder and cystic fibrosis survivor who first competed in American Ninja Warrior 11.
American Ninja Warrior 11[]
In his rookie season, he competed in Baltimore. He finished the qualifying course, where he placed 7th overall. He was one of three rookies that finished the course, but he was the only one to be cut from the broadcast.
His city finals run was digested but it was shown that he failed Angry Birds, but placed 9th and advanced to the national finals.
On Stage One, his run was cut but he failed the Diving Boards.
American Ninja Warrior 14[]
He competed in American Ninja Warrior 14 in the second episode of qualifiers. His run was digested, but he was one of few to complete Serpent on Split Decision. He later failed the fifth obstacle, Piston Plunge, but it was enough for him to land 21st in the top 30 overall.
In the semifinals, his run was cut but he mentioned on Instagram that he failed the Spinning Bridge in the first semifinal episode, putting an end to his sophomore season.
American Ninja Warrior 16[]
Branden got the call to compete in ANW 16 for his third season. He competed in the second qualifying round, where his run was cut, but it was shown that similarly to ANW 14, he advanced to the semifinals after failing the fifth obstacle. He placed 9th among the mens' leaderboard after making it to Ring the Bells.
He later raced against Alex Nye in the last semifinal episode. The race was digested, but he failed on Hopscotch while Alex made it to Spin Hopper and thus he once again didn't advance to the semifinals.
