Bob Reese is a professional freerunner and parkour athlete best known for his social media content. As of 2025, his Instagram has over 1,400,000 followers, his TikTok has over 5,300,000 followers, and his YouTube channel has amassed over 9,260,000 subscribers.

American Ninja Warrior 13[]

Bob first competed in the third qualifying episode. His run was digested, but it was shown that he failed on the fifth obstacle, Pretzel Twist. However, his time to the obstacle placed him in 22nd, so he advanced to the semifinals.

He later competed in the third semifinals episode. His run there was completely cut, but it was revealed that he was one of eleven competitors who failed the eighth obstacle, Padlock that night. His time was however, just enough for him to sneak into the national finals, moving on in 15th place in his rookie season.

His run in the national finals was digested, but it was shown that he failed on the Double Dipper after he didn't let go of the second bar. He tried everything to rebuild momentum to no avail. As a last-ditch surrender, he took off his shoes until he back flipped into the water below, ending his season in style.

American Ninja Warrior 14[]

Bob returned to compete in the following season, along with his sister, Becca Anderson in the first qualifying episode. His run was once again digested, but it was shown he got past the fifth obstacle, the Salmon Roll. He was able to be one of the 13 competitors to finish that obstacle. He also completed the Mega Wall and placed 11th in the standings, with an extra $10,000 to boot. He was one of four competitors to make it up the Mega Wall that night. It was also the first buzzer of his career.

He later competed in the first semifinals episode. He was the first runner in that episode, making it the first time his full run was televised. He made it entertaining throughout, eating a banana before the Warped Wall, doing a reverse 360 on the wall, and doing flips during his run. He ultimately failed Ghost Town, once again making it to the eighth obstacle. He finished in 12th place, advancing to Vegas for his second straight year.

In the national finals, he had another entertaining run, doing flips off both Three Ring Circus and Giant Rollercoaster, completing the third obstacle this time around. He then tried to do a front flip into the Jumping Spider and failed there, ending his season. Despite failing, he was allowed a second chance to do the front flip after his official run and successfully completed it on his second try.

American Ninja Warrior 15[]

He competed again in the final qualifier. His run was digested, but just like his debut season, he failed the fifth obstacle, going out on Mutant Mayhem. Despite this, his fast time was able to get him through to the semifinals having placed 8th.

Bob then went up against Vinnie Castranova in the last round of semifinals. The race was digested, but both finished the course. Though Bob finished slower, he was one of the two best non-winners and made his third straight trip to Vegas.

On Stage One, he successfully did a front flip into the Jumping Spider, getting revenge on that obstacle. He later failed the final obstacle, Thread the Needle, after getting hung up and losing his grip on the cane, ending his best season as he didn't place in the Top 24 at the end of the stage.

American Ninja Warrior 16[]

He competed in the final round of qualifying in American Ninja Warrior 16 where Bob made it all the way to the fifth obstacle, Ring the Bells. In a similar fashion to Mady Howard's fall on the obstacle during the previous season, he made it to the landing platform but was leaning backwards and pulled back into the water. He still moved onto the semifinals in 7th place.

He later competed in the last semifinal episode, racing against R.J. Roman. RJ had the lead the entire race while Bob failed on the Spin Hopper, and since he wasn't one of the top two non-winners, Bob didn't advance to the national finals for the first time in his career.

American Ninja Warrior 17[]

He returned for his fifth season in ANW 17. Before his qualifying run, his front flip attempts on the Jumping Spider in ANW 14 & 15 were listed as #3 of ANW's wackiest moments.

He would later compete on the sixth qualifier round. Bob flew across the first three obstacles with ease. In arguably the highlight of the qualifier round, he did a flip while transferring to the second set of handles on Crank It Up. He cleared the fifth obstacle this time and hit another qualifying buzzer for the first time since ANW14, moving on to the semifinals in 8th place.

In his semifinals run, he put on another noteworthy show. He started off bounding on one side of the Quad Steps, just like Drew Drechsel when he was training for American Ninja Warrior 4. Then, he backflipped off Lunatic Ledges, successfully completing the obstacle. Finally, he decided to do a side flip into the Log Runner. But going into the first log, he slipped into the water, ending his season on the third obstacle there. Even after getting out of the water, he backflipped back into the water, having fun on the course.

According to other competitors that competed in ANW 17, Bob had a scheduling conflict after his semifinals run, having to fly out of Nevada shortly after filming. Because of this, Bob would've had to withdraw from the finals if managed to go far enough fast enough in the semifinals. Aware of this confliction, this explains why Bob did a ton of risky moves on the first three obstacles of the semifinals round. He was essentially "throwing the game away" because it wouldn't have made a difference if he made the Top 20 in the grand scheme of his schedule.[1].

Bob is set to compete in American Ninja Warrior 18.
