He didn't compete in ANW 8 and ANW 9 due to a knee injury, but later returned in Indianapolis for ANW 10. It was revealed this season, he was running the course for a young woman named Amber, whose husband passed away from an aneurysm. Her husband happened to be Bill's donor.

For the first time, Westrick got past the second obstacle, being able to survive Cannonball Drop. Though his run later ended on Block Run, he set a new record making it to the fourth obstacle.
