ANW10 Baton Pass — American Ninja Warrior 10's Baton Pass in Los Angeles

The Baton Pass is an obstacle, firstly introduced as the ninth obstacle during Los Angeles finals on American Ninja Warrior 10.

Competitors must traverse a series of batons (6 in total) through a series of trays, with 2 batons at the end of the obstacle were fixed (had been placed to the trays and could not be moved), while the other 4 batons were removable (competitors must move the batons from tray to tray, in almost a similar fashion to the Floating Monkey Bars).

Only 7 competitors (including Tiana Webberley, Grant McCartney, and Nick Hanson) fell on this obstacle. Since 17 competitors could reach the obstacle, the Baton Pass became the cut off for the top 15 competitors to advance to Las Vegas national finals.

Trivia

The Baton Pass during American Ninja Warrior 10's Los Angeles finals became the third instance where the ninth obstacle became the cut off for the top 15 competitors to advance to Las Vegas national finals (meaning the previous obstacle, i.e. the eighth obstacle, had at least 15 competitors completed it). The other instances were during American Ninja Warrior 5's Baltimore finals and American Ninja Warrior 7's Kansas City finals, with the fourth instance would be during American Ninja Warrior 10's Minneapolis finals.
