Avery Glantz is a college student from Pennsylvania, who was previously on the second season of American Ninja Warrior Junior. She's also the girlfriend of fellow competitor Luke Dillon.
American Ninja Warrior 13[]
She first competed in the fifth and last qualifying episode. Her run was digested, but at Split Decision she chose to do the Log Runner, and went out on that obstacle.
American Ninja Warrior 14[]
She returned for her second season in the second qualifying group. Though her run was cut, she failed Overpass.[1]
American Ninja Warrior 15[]
Avery returned to compete in season 15 on the first qualifier. Her run was cut again, but she failed on Domino Effect. This time around, she placed 5th among the women, but this meant she needed to compete in the runoff against Taylor Johnson to advance to the semifinals. Unfortunately, Avery fell early on the first obstacle, Home Run, eliminating her.
American Ninja Warrior 17[]
After not being selected to compete in season 16, Avery returned to compete in American Ninja Warrior 17 in the first qualifying episode. There she got past the third obstacle for the first time, clearing Block Run. She later failed on the fifth obstacle Battering Ram, falling on the transition to the third cylinder. She placed 19th overall and advanced to the semifinals for the first time in her career.
Avery later competed in the first semifinals episode. Her run was digested, but she got her revenge on Battering Ram before missing all three of her attempts at the Warped Wall. She placed 4th among the women, and just missed out on advancing to the national finals, ending her best season to date.
