Araki Takuji is a professional life saver who has competed in SASUKE 4. Though his First Stage run was digested, he was one of the 37 competitors to clear it, a record that still stands up until this day. In the Second Stage, however, he was also one of many to fall victim of the Spider Walk as he fell on the Spider Climb portion of the obstacle.
In the next tournament, SASUKE 5, he was not shown in G4, but was shown in the original broadcast accordingly. He was able to make it pretty far, but he failed the new Jump Hang.
