Anthony Eardley is an underwater welder from Oneonta, New York. He first competed on ANW 11.
American Ninja Warrior 11[]
He competed in Baltimore, where his run was digested, but he failed Crank It Up. However, his time there was enough to place him 22nd overall, so he moved on to the city finals.
In the city finals, he was the first runner up, where he had his whole family on the sidelines, mentioning that he was an adoptee. He made the most of his run, making it all the way to the eighth obstacle, Angry Birds. However, competition got stiff on that obstacle, so his time didn't hold up. He placed 15th overall.
American Ninja Warrior 12[]
Anthony competed in the first episode of qualifying. He made it past the first two obstacles, but failed the third obstacle, Ring Chaser.
He was originally slated to participate in Washington D.C. before the season was modified.
American Ninja Warrior 13[]
Anthony competed in the fourth episode of qualifying. His run was digested, but he put an energetic run making it to the fifth obstacle, Pretzel Twist, before taking a hard fall. His time to the obstacle placed him 25th overall, and so he moved on to the semifinals.
He later competed in the second episode of semifinals. His run there was also digested, but he surprisingly failed the Salmon Ladder, ending his season.
American Ninja Warrior 14[]
Anthony returned for his fourth season competing in ANW 14. He competed in the second episode of qualifying, where he failed the fifth obstacle once again, going out on Piston Plunge. He was able to advance to the semifinals, placing 28th overall.
In the first semifinals episode, Anthony bettered his performance from last season, beating the Salmon Ladder this time, and also getting past the eighth obstacle, Ghost Town. He later failed on the ninth obstacle Dragonback, marking his best performance on a semifinal course so far and it was enough for him to place 9th and advance to his first national finals in his career.
His Stage One run at the national finals was digested, but he failed on the Jumping Spider.
American Ninja Warrior 16[]
He then competed in American Ninja Warrior 16 in the sixth qualifying round but in a turn of events he shockingly failed Pole Vault, making it the first time since American Ninja Warrior 12 he didn't move onto the semifinals.
