Anna McArthur is a college student from St. George, Utah who was previously on the second season of American Ninja Warrior Junior. She's also the girlfriend of fellow ANW competitor, Evan Andrews.
American Ninja Warrior Junior 2[]
She competed in episode #13, where she lost her race in the seeding round against Chase Hughes after falling on the Double Tilt Ladder before she also lost her race in the knockout round against Jonah Maningo, eliminating her from the competition.
American Ninja Warrior 15[]
Anna made her ANW debut in the seventh qualifier. She was the first runner of the night, and she made to the fourth obstacle, Kite Surfer, before falling. She placed 4th in the women's leaderboard, and so she took part in the runoff races, going against Rachel Beth Drake. Anna stayed ahead for the entire race and ultimately completed the course, while Rachel failed on Sideways.
She later competed in the third semifinal, racing against Madelyn Madaras. Anna was in the lead for most of the race, but ultimately failed on Slingshot. Madelyn completed the course and won the matchup, so Anna did not advance to the national finals.
American Ninja Warrior 16[]
Anna returned in ANW 16 in the second qualifier. This time, her run was digested, but it was shown that she failed the first transition on Ring the Bells. She placed 1st among the women, advancing to the semifinals without needing a runoff race this time.
Anna raced against Megan Budway in the semifinals. Their race was digested, but Megan failed on the Wingnuts, while Anna made it to the Spin Hopper and advanced to the national finals in her second season.
On Stage One, her run was digested again. Unfortunately, her run was short-lived as she slipped up on just the first obstacle, the Slide Surfer, ending her sophomore season.
American Ninja Warrior 17[]
Anna returned in American Ninja Warrior 17 in the second qualifying episode where for the second straight season, she made it to the fifth obstacle, this time being the Ferris Wheel before falling. Unfortunately, her time the obstacle was just barely out of the Top 20, so this would've been the first time in her career that she didn't move onto the semifinals. She placed 21st in the qualifier round overall.
However since Lorin Ball dropped out of the competition due to filming conflicts, she was able to compete in the second semifinals episode as an alternative. Her run there was digested, but she couldn't make most out of the alternate spot, as she failed on the third obstacle Log Runner, ending her season.
