Americus Abesamis, known by his nickname Captain Americus, is an actor and champion sumo wrestler from Jersey City, NJ, who competed on American Ninja Warrior 2.
Despite his impressive athletic talent, he did not last long on the course, attempting to one-foot the Quad Steps and losing his balance on the second step. However, he did leave a lasting impact, as his fall displaced a large amount of water out of the tank underneath the Quad Steps, causing a large amount of water to coat the steps. This affected several other competitors and made the trek across the steps much more difficult.
