American Ninja Warrior 7

American Ninja Warrior 7 is the 7th season of the famed show American Ninja Warrior. Like the last few years, the course remain the same with 24 obstacles. This year, there will be 6 cities in which Qualifying Events will be held. For the first time, there will be a special all military episode, taped at the USS Iowa in San Pedro, CA. The season premiered on NBC on May 25th, 2015 and will air new episodes on Mondays, while reruns will air on the Esquire Network. The top 30 contestants, defined as the contestants who complete the course fastest, or those who complete the most obstacles in the shortest time. The top 15 contestants from the city finals will advance to the Las Vegas Finals, with contestants that placed 16th place will get a wild card spot. Many competitors, including those who have competed in early seasons will return to take on the course. Many people hope that someone this year will finally conquer the course. The Las Vegas Finals will take place June 24th through 28th, 2015.

Qualifying Round

This season, the qualifying round spanned six cities including Venice, returning for the seventh time, and first time American Ninja Warrior hosts Kansas City, Houston, Orlando, Pittsburgh, and San Pedro. San Pedro's qualifying course was a special military course featuring only active and retired members of the United State's Armed Forces. Each qualifying course featured six obstacles with the first being the Quintuple Steps and the sixth being the Warped Wall. The other four obstacles changed in each city. Everyone who finished a qualifying course secured a spot in their city final. If less than thirty people completed a qualifying course then the rest of the top thirty, ranked by who went the farthest the fastest, would also earn a spot in that city final.

City Finals

In the city finals, the qualifiers from each city returned to take on an improved course. Each city finals course was an extended version of the qualifying course with the four obstacles added after the Warped Wall. In each city the first added obstacle was the Salmon Ladder and the last added obstacle was the Invisible Ladder. The other two obstacles changed in each city. In each city, the top fifteen who went the farthest the fastest earned a spot in the National Finals.
