American Ninja Warrior 6 was the sixth season of American Ninja Warrior. The season premiered on May 26th, 2014, and hosted five cities for qualifying rounds in Venice Beach, Dallas, St. Louis (new city), Miami, and Denver, with the national finals being held in Las Vegas. For this season, Matt Iseman returned as the host for his fifth season, Akbar Gbaja-Biamila returned as the co-host for his second season, and Jenn Brown returned as the sideline reporter for her second season.

This season was best known as the beginning of female competitors' resurrection on American Ninja Warrior. 3 female competitors (Kacy Catanzaro, Michelle Warnky, and Meagan Martin) were able to scale the Warped Wall, complete the city qualifiers course, and advance to city finals. Particularly for Kacy Catanzaro, she became the first female competitor ever to do so during Dallas qualifiers. Then, during Dallas finals, she became the first female competitor ever to complete the city finals course and qualify to Las Vegas national finals.
