American Ninja Warrior 14 is the fourteenth season of American Ninja Warrior, and the third season after Drew Drechsel's total victory on American Ninja Warrior 11.
Castings was announced on October 22nd, 2021 on their website and Twitter. The deadline for the applications was on December 10th, 2021. Amongst other requirements, all applicants were required to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19. Some competitors were called to compete under the condition that they received the vaccine before filming. Several veteran competitors openly revealed that they declined to do so and gave up their spot as a result.
This season was filmed in three cities in a format very similar to the previous season:
- All competitors started at Alamodome in San Antonio for the qualifiers, taped in late March. For the first time since American Ninja Warrior 11, there was a live audience. There are five qualifiers episodes. This is fourth straight season to have a round indoors after Seattle/Tacoma on American Ninja Warrior 11 and American Ninja Warrior 13 along with St. Louis on American Ninja Warrior 12
- The top competitors in each qualifiers episode advanced to the semifinals, taped at the Universal Studios Backlot in Los Angeles in early April. There are four semifinals episode.
- Finally, the top competitors in each semifinals episode advanced to the national finals in Las Vegas, taped in mid-May. There are three National Finals episodes.
Due to ANWNation permanently shutting down at the beginning of 2022, further details on the new season are still limited and will be revealed as it airs. Additionally, results of cut runs may not be readily available.
