American Ninja Warrior 11 is the eleventh season of American Ninja Warrior, and the fourth season after Geoff Britten and Isaac Caldiero's total victories on American Ninja Warrior 7. The season premiered on May 29th, 2019, and hosted six cities for qualifying rounds in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Oklahoma City, Baltimore, Seattle-Tacoma (new city), and Cincinnati (new city), with the national finals being held in Las Vegas. Among the 6 qualifying cities for this season, Atlanta and Oklahoma City returned for the first time since American Ninja Warrior 8, while Baltimore returned for the first time since American Ninja Warrior 5. For this season, Matt Iseman returned as the host for his tenth season, Akbar Gbaja-Biamila returned as the co-host for his seventh season, while Zuri Hall replaced Kristine Leahy as the sideline reporter. Episodes were aired at NBC on Wednesday night, but changed to Monday night (starting on June 17th, 2019).
This season featured several changes for the competition:
- During city qualifiers round in each city:
- The top 2 overall competitors competed head-to-head on a side-by-side obstacle called the Power Tower. The winning competitor on this obstacle earned the Speed Pass, meaning he/she automatically advanced to Las Vegas national finals.
- New completion rules were added to the Mega Wall during city qualifiers round:
- Competitors were given 3 attempts to complete either the regular Warped Wall or Mega Wall.
- If they decided to attempt the Mega Wall and failed to complete it after 3 attempts, they cannot return to the regular Warped Wall this time.
- The cash prizes for completing the Mega Wall decreases as competitors used up more attempts. The cash prizes were listed as followed:
- Completion on the first attempt: $10,000.
- Completion on the second attempt: $5,000.
- Completion on the third and final attempt: $2,500.
- During city finals round in each city:
- The competitor who already earned the Speed Pass during city qualifiers round might choose not to compete in the city finals round (since his/her spot in Las Vegas national finals had already been guaranteed).
- Only the Results who made the furthest in the fastest time (in case of less than 12 competitors completed the course) instead of 15 competitors would advance to Las Vegas national finals.
- However, if one of the competitors in the top 12 was the one who had already received the Speed Pass, the competitor who finished in 13th place would automatically fill the last spot for Las Vegas national finals.
- The top 2 overall competitors competed head-to-head on the redesigned Power Tower. This time, the winning competitor on this obstacle received the Safety Pass, meaning if he/she failed to complete either Stage One or Stage Two during Las Vegas national finals, he/she was allowed to reattempt it once. However, if he/she could complete both stages, his/her Safety Pass would be voided (it's cannot be rolled over to the next season).
In addition, the rules for female competitors returned, with the top five female competitors from each city qualifiers moving on to city finals. Then, the top two female competitors from each city finals would move on to Las Vegas national finals. Because of these two rules, there would be no wildcards to be rewarded.
Also, with the announcement of the American Ninja Warrior: Obstacle Design Challenge from the previous season, in which fans created an obstacle that would be modified and used in one of the city qualifying courses and Las Vegas national finals. There were brand new obstacles submitted from the fans, and would be used on this season.
This was the first season in which the sideline reporter did not give an overview of the obstacles on the course.

Trivia[]
- Seattle-Tacoma finals on this season became:
- the third ever instance in American Ninja Warrior history where no competitor was able to complete the city finals course (after American Ninja Warrior 8's Philadelphia finals and American Ninja Warrior 9's Kansas City finals), and
- the first ever instance where no competitor was able to reach the final obstacle of the city finals course.
- Besides having zero finishers in both city finals courses, Seattle-Tacoma finals on this season and American Ninja Warrior 9's Kansas City finals coincidentally also featured:
- the fifth obstacle that involved the competitors to hop a bar across the cradles (the Bar Hop and Lightning Bolts),
- the Floating Monkey Bars as the eighth obstacle, and
- the ninth obstacle that involved three angled pegboards (the Iron Maiden and Northwest Passage).
- Seattle-Tacoma finals on this season also made Mady Howard as the eighth woman in American Ninja Warrior history to qualify for Las Vegas within the top 12 (top 15 for past seasons) - behind Kacy Catanzaro, Jessie Graff, Meagan Martin, Jesse Labreck, Rachael Goldstein, Michelle Warnky, and Allyssa Beird. She was also the second women to do so on her rookie season (after Jesse Labreck on American Ninja Warrior 8) and the first women ever to do so without finishing in the top 30 during city qualifiers round.
