American Ninja Warrior: USA vs The World 6 was the seventh installment of American Ninja Warrior's international tournament, which was premiered on January 26th, 2020 in the U.S. and August 18th, 2020 in Australia (shortly after the finale of Australian Ninja Warrior: State of Origin).

Team USA

There were 3 teams competing on this tournament, with 6 members in each team.

Team USA was once again led by champion Drew Drechsel and runner-up Daniel Gil. They were also joined by the Last Woman Standing of American Ninja Warrior 11, Jesse Labreck. Furthermore, three members had astounding performances on the previous competition: Adam Rayl placed third overall on American Ninja Warrior 11, Karsten Williams hit buzzers on every round of competition before going into Stage Three, and Michael Torres was the only Safety Pass winner to not have to use it. With the exception of Labreck, every member of Team USA tackled Stage Three, and all of those competitors save for Torres cleared the Ultimate Cliffhanger.

Team Europe featured all-new members once again. Most of the members came from Eastern Europe, indicating the spread of Ninja Warrior from Western to Eastern Europe.

Finally, Team Australia underwent a significant overhaul. Stage Three veterans Josh O'Sullivan and Daniel Mason hoped to contribute their experience, and they were balanced out by explosive rookie Cam D'Silva and rock climber Matt Tsang. They were joined by Bryson Klein, the first of two returning competitors. Finally, Olivia Vivian was given the daunting task of leading the team and balancing out these different personalities and skillsets.

Broadcast Notes[]

When the competition was aired in Australia, it started with a message stating: "Due to current legal proceedings in the U.S., the following program has been edited". This is due to NBC & A. Smith & Co cutting ties with Drew Drechsel for legal reasons. This resulted to have Channel 9 (the broadcaster) cutting out most of the footage with Drew Drechsel, including his entire run.
