American Ninja Warrior: Couples Championship is the first American Ninja Warrior competition for couples, which was recorded after American Ninja Warrior 14, and premiered on September 18th, 2023 (a week after American Ninja Warrior 15's season finale).
Ten couples competed in a six-obstacle course, with each competitor attempting three obstacles.
A point is gained for every obstacle completed with a maximum points of six earned for this round, the top five couples with the most points advancing to Round Two.
Round Two
Five remaining couples competed in an extended ten-obstacle course, with each competitor attempting five obstacles.
A point is gained for every obstacle completed.
However, if one competitor failed an obstacle, the remaining competitor would attempt to complete their partner's obstacle in their stead. As such, half a point is gained for every obstacle completed with a maximum points of ten earned for this round, the top two couples with the most points advancing to Round Three.
Round Three
Two remaining couples competed in the Power Tower in a relay format.
The last couple standing was crowned as the champion received the trophy, and win a cash prize of US$25,000.
