American Ninja Warrior: All Star Spectacular is a new version of American Ninja Warrior's post-season tournament, which was recorded after American Ninja Warrior 13's season finale, and premiered on May 30th, 2022, a week before American Ninja Warrior 14's season premiere.
Despite the name change, this special is considered as the sixth installment of the All Stars Special. This also marked the return of the format after missing out during American Ninja Warrior 12's post-season due to the various changes in format caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. This tournament only featured Skills Competition events, unlike past years.
Events[]
Spring Forward Tag[]
The obstacle consisted of a supersized version of the Spring Forward.
The event involved twelve bars with varying heights arranged in a circle extending outwards, with each bar connected to a spring at the end. At first, two competitors were on different sides of the obstacle. The main goal of this event was to tag their opponent while swinging on the bars in a counter clockwise direction or until one of them fell. There was no time limit in this competition.
There were seven heats in this competition, with two competitors in each heat. In each of the first four heats, the competitor who tagged the other one, or the other fell into the water moved on to the semifinal heats (running in two heats), with the winning competitor from each semifinal heat moved on to the final heat. In the final heat, the competitor who tagged the other one, or not fallen into the water would be the champion.

Cat Grab[]
Not to be confused with the Cat Grab, an obstacle that appeared on American Ninja Warrior 6.
The obstacle consisted of a supersized version of the Lumberjack Climb and Spider Flip, which took place at the Stage Four tower.
The event involved competitors using their hands and feet in a similar fashion to the Spider Flip to climb a series of planks while doing a Spider Flip transition in between. As a side note, this obstacle made its first unofficial appearance during the season finale of American Ninja Warrior 13 behind the Rope Climb.
There were three heats in this competition, with two competitors in each heat. In each of the first two heats, the competitor who reached the top of the tower (or made the highest) in the fastest time moved on to the final heat. In the final heat, the competitor who reached the top of the tower (or made the highest) in the fastest time was the champion. There was no time limit in this competition.

Big Dipper Freestyle[]
The obstacle consisted of a Big Dipper, which was held at the same place as the Double Dipper in Stage One.
After releasing from the bar, each competitor must perform a free-diving trick into the water. Then, each of the judges (consisted of Matt, Akbar, and Zuri) would give a score for him/her. Each competitor would receive two attempts to perform the trick and the score from both attempts would be accumulated as his/her score. The competitor who received the highest total score would be the champion. If there were at least two competitors who got the same total score, those competitors would compete in a dive-off, with the competitor who received the highest score being declared as the champion.

Each competitor must sprint across nine small steps (spaced five feet apart between each step), then grabbed a rope, swung back, and sprinted across the steps in other direction, and finally reached and hit the buzzer at the top of the wall.
There were seven heats in this competition, with two competitors in each heat. In each of the first four heats, the competitor who completed the obstacle (or made the furthest) in the fastest time moved on to the semifinal heats (running in two heats), with the winning competitor from each semifinal heat moved on to the final heat. In the final heat, the competitor completed the obstacle (or made the furthest) in the fastest time was the champion. There was no time limit in this competition.
