Amanda O'Dell is a cafeteria worker from Indianapolis, Indiana. Amanda is passionate about nutrition and health, and strives to work towards giving kids healthier school lunches. Her husband, George O'Dell, competed in their hometown in Indianapolis in ANW 10.

She competed in Cincinnati, where she cleared the first four obstacles with ease. However, she became the first to take on the Slingshot, and fell on it from there. However, her outstanding performance placed her in the top 30, ranking 29th overall and 3rd in the womens' top 5. She was the only rookie female competitor to do so in that qualifier.
However, she failed the Ring Swing in the city finals, despite clearing it in qualifying. Overall, she placed 31st.
American Ninja Warrior: Family Championship[]
Amanda competed in the Family Championship alongside her husband George and son Trey. The O'Dell's first round ended with a total of 4 points won; 2 by Amanda, and 2 by Trey. However, in the second round, after husband George and son Trey cleared the first 4 obstacles, O'Dell fell on Sideways, eliminating the O'Dell family from the competition.
