Alexander "Alex" Krumland is a gym owner from Richmond, California that competed on both American Ninja Warrior and SASUKE Vietnam.
American Ninja Warrior 6[]
Krumland debuted at the Venice Qualifiers in ANW 6. as a walk-on. Krumland's run was all cut, but he was briefly shown in a fail montage before the episode cut to commercial with no mention or credit of his name. However, viewers could see a competitor wearing bright green overalls fall into the water on the Spinning Wheel, which was Krumland.
It is worth noting that Alex walked-on this season, and was one of the few walk-ons that got a chance to compete at the Venice Beach taping overall. This is because the Slack Ladder took up so much time per completion/fail.
American Ninja Warrior 7[]
Krumland would walk-on for his second season straight, this time being at the Houston Qualifiers. His run was all cut, but uploaded in full to his YouTube channel. Krumland failed the third obstacle, the Spinning Log.[1] He tripped on the barrier and attempted to save himself. He finished the obstacle, however, it was counted as a fail on the obstacle. It would be shown upon closer review on the taping jumbotron that his left armpit grasped the log while attempting to recover, which ultimately resulted in a disqualification.
SASUKE VIETNAM 2[]
Krumland made his Vietnam debut during the second tournament. He was portrayed as a nerdy but strong competitor. He cleared the first two stages without struggle. On Stage Three Krumland peeled off on the first ledge of the Cliffhanger.
