Alex Grunwald is a German teacher who participated in the regular Ninja Warrior Germany Seasons 2-7, Team Ninja Warrior Germany 1 & 2 (along with his teams Flash Berlin and Retro Kids) and Ninja Warrior Germany All-Stars 1 & 2. In Ninja Warrior Germany, Alex Grunwald is considered as one of the shows more notable veteran competitors, who has proven his skills across all the 10 seasons in which he participated. His first notable performance occured in his debut season, as he performed well throughout the Qualifications (with the top time of his Semi-finals Qualification) and the Semi-finals and made it to the Finals. His greatest success however, came in the following season. There, he not only became one of 10 competitors to clear the First Stage of the Finals, but also produced the best non-finisher performance in the Second Stage. And while he has had some setbacks in the Semi-finals of the following regular seasons & his most recent season, he also reached the Second Stage in 6, certainly proving that his past success not a fluke, and that he could keep up with the more recent Ninja scene. In both of the Team Ninja Warrior Germany competitions, he also performed well, but (despite his speed and skill) still failed at the Qualification relay for the Finals both times.
