Abbey Steffl is a mother of two from Stillwater, Minnesota.
Her daughter, Molly, has alopecia. She and her kids have been primarily inspired by fellow Ninja competitor, Kevin Bull, whom they first met at a kids' camp for alopecia. Molly later competed on the 2021 season of ANW Jr.
American Ninja Warrior 11[]
She debuted in Tacoma qualifying during ANW 11. Her run was all cut, but she was one of the 24 to fail the second obstacle, the Lunatic Ledges.
American Ninja Warrior 12[]
She competed in the fifth episode of qualifying in season 12, having been invited as part of Kevin Bull's team. On the course, she made it past the first two obstacles. She later failed the third obstacle, Beehive, failing to make the transfer on the third honeycomb and she didn't move on at the end of the night.
American Ninja Warrior 13[]
She competed for her third season in American Ninja Warrior 13. She competed in the fifth episode of qualifying, where she was the oldest female to compete that round at 40 years of age. On the course, made it to the fourth obstacle, Tilt-A-Whirl, but fell on the third cradle inches away from the landing platform. She didn't make the womens' top 5 at the end of the night.
American Ninja Warrior 14[]
Abbey competed in the third round of qualifying in ANW 14. Like last season, she made it to the fourth obstacle but did not land in the womens' top 5.
