The Ōdama (大玉), known as the Big Boulder in English broadcasts, is a First Stage obstacle introduced in SASUKE 8. It was replaced in SASUKE 10 with the Dāsu Bridge.
Description
It was a large ball, 2.7m in diameter, that the competitor must jump on and across a gap onto a landing platform, which is curved. Although it can be defeated by only two large leaps, the slippery surface of the ball has taken down competitors if they step wrongly.
